FRIED COFFEE

This mess with our economy has me stymied. Everyone seems to be pointing accusing fingers and no one is explaining the situation to the average person who,  regardless of party affiliation,  loves this country and believes in the principles upon which it was founded.  We are stalwart in our dedication to supporting our flag and democracy.

We deserve the unvarnished facts about what is going on instead of partisan, C-Y-A, rhetoric.

This morning I sent the following  letter.

Please help us average citizens understand the economic crisis, how it happened, and what needs to be done to resolve the situation and keep it from happening again.

Most of us out here are simply trying to live our lives and perhaps gain, just a little.

We are average folks. Not economists with multiple degrees, and the twists and turns of this mess elude us.

We are prepared to do whatever we must to support our country and need plain talk to guide us toward understanding so we can vote for those who can  lead us through the difficulties ahead.

No one seems to be addressing us with information we can fathom.
