While I’d love to get political, I have’t found the right forum to do so yet.

So let’s just say that I agree wholeheartedly with the entitlement and greed issues.
Let me know when you want me to cast the first stone of revolution, I’ll be there……with bells on, no less!

I believe that most of us, throughout the world, have the same goals in life. Freedom, happiness, and the opportunity to improve ourselves while respecting the needs and desires of our fellow human beings.

The mantle of entitlement some people wrap themselves in, at the expense of everyone else, is not acceptable and it’s time to say ” NO MORE”.

I agree about the plague of greed, but am seeing signs in the foodservice industry that there are many, many operators seeking to offer great values this year – clearly for enlightened self interest but at the same time, they are doing a good thing for customers who’d like to eat out more often and need less expensive options. The whole Wall Street debacle just epitomizes the “greed is good” philosophy that needs to come to an end.

Hmmmm, my favorite example of greed is doctors who schedule patients fifteen minutes apart – knowing full well that they will always be late, and uncaring that they are wasting the patient’s time.

When I was little my dad told me that God knew everything I’d ever do in my life time be it good or bad so when I meet God in heaven he hoped I would not have to much to atone for. Maybe people are not being told those words so much any more.
